1 - More space in the city
Recent clients of ours from Dublin were planning to move
to the country as they couldnt get planning for a larger extension to their home. Then
they thought of looking into getting a basement. They were suprised to find
that they didnt have to leave their home to achieve this. The basement could be
more easliy placed under their garden. So they went ahead and got planning for a
small extension and large basement. Their house is now twice its original size
and their garden is better than before as freashly rooled grass was layed.
Case 2 - Country mansion
A client in a country village wanted to build her dream home on a plot of land she had inherited. Planning only allowed her build a one story house in that area so she was considering selling up. Then she contacted Sphere. We advised her to put in a basement when building and apply for permission for a dormer bungalow instead of a one story house. Her plans were accept by the authorities. She how has the equivalent of a three story home.
